Our 15,000 ft2 rebuild facility is located on the east coast of Ireland near Navan, Co. Meath and has been in operation since 1985. Throughout this time Quarry & Mining Equipment Ltd. has built a solid reputation for top-quality standards in remanufacturing and customer support.

QME provide complete Mining solutions, currently engaged in Pillar and Stope extraction and exploration. Providing all Plant, Labour, Materials & Planning, QME is exceeding all targets and projections.

Quarry & Mining Equipment Ltd. is a world leader in supplying top-quality remanufactured LHD
scooptrams and drilling equipment to the mining industry worldwide. Our range of scooptrams,
drills, personnel carriers and utility vehicles contains machinery from all the world-class manufacturers.

QME has undertaken mining contracts in both Ireland and abroad. Providing drilling, bolting, concrete spraying, emulsion units and all underground service and utilities, our experienced managers, operators and technicians excel at projects delivery, currently exceeding expected production.

QME can supply specialist and standard underground and open pit mining equipment, serviced and maintained to the highest standard. All plant can be provided on short or long terms with the option of lease purchase. We are currently agents for a range of manufacturers and specialists.

QME supplies heavy-duty transmissions, differentials, converters and drivelines. QME spare parts are sourced from the primary manufacturer and therefore conform to the highest standards available to the industry. We are able to supply original spare parts at the keenest prices and deliver to our worldwide customers in a minimum timeframe.

As a Management Team, QME can provide project planning from inception to completion on Mining, Services and Contracting activities. With an aim of Cost Effective Engineering, plant, resources and innovation can be applied to any construction tasks. QME can provide client and representative liaison, public services authority coordination, personnel, plant and materials organisation and general construction contract management.

Mining Services

QME provide materials processing, waste management, specialist production and concrete ancillaries at this location. All services are provided in accordance with the highest standards, engaging highly qualified professionals.

Mine Development

This contract is a complete provision contract, encompassing 7,000 lin/m of development. This 24/7 contract is currently ahead of schedule and demonstrates QME mining capabilities here in Ireland, as the first domestic contract Mining Company.

Fleet Services

QME is well placed in providing Services for mobile fleet management. At Tara Mines, QME provides parts as well as maintaining its own fleet of mining vehicles, parts and also maintains a complete underground workshop facility.
